The main part of this website is the 16 tables of ancestors and descendants of my great-great grandparents.

DANISH TABLES

1. Jørgen Jørgensen Slot (1802-1889) and Maren Sørendatter (1804-1875). They were farmers in Meltofte, Lolland. Their descendants include the names Andersen, Lund, Nielsen, Petersen, Schultz, Slot, Slott, Slott-Petersen and Wamsler in Denmark and Sweden

2. Ole Hansen (1797-1847) and Maren Katrine Jensdatter (1804-1869), They were millers in Halsted Mølle, Lolland. This table is not yet researched.

3. Lars Nielsen (1807-1878) and Karen Jensdatter (1808-1861). They were farmers in Mårsø near Holbæk.Their descendants include the names Andersen, Christensen, Isager, Jensen, Larsen and Paludan-Andersen in Denmark.

4. Hans Larsen (1797-1879) and Anna Maria Jensdatter (1797-1867). They were smallholders in Ladegårdshusene near Holbæk. Their descendants include the names Hansen, Nielsen and Sørensen in Denmark.

5. Carl Frederik Berggreen (1807-1853) and Mette Cathrine Mortensen (1808-1890). They were combmakers in Copenhagen. Their descendants include the names Berggreen, Heichelmann, Juhre and Spelty in Denmark, Germany and USA.

6. Carl Emil Heichelmann (1796-1866) and Vilhelmine Caroline Borchsenius (1805-1849). He was an innkeeper and baker at Vallø Castle in Sealand. Their descendants include the names Bull, Heichelmann, Koefoed, Larsen, Madsen, Nielsen, Sproegel, Tang and Therkelsen in Denmark, Norway, USA and Germany.

7. Christoffer Jacobsen (1794-efter 1845) and Christine Vilhelmine Dauv (1802-1870). He was a coppersmith in Usserød in Sealand.After their divorce he lived in Haderslev. She later married grocer Jensen in Sletten in Sealand. Their descendants include the names Jensen, Johnston and Kaalund in Denmark and England.


ENGLISH TABLE

8. Joseph Nottage Scott (1808-ca. 1840) and Catharina Fisher (1808-1838). He grew up in the Borough Gaol in King's Lynn, Norfolk, where his father was the gaoler. He became a sailor, and they lived in Kings Lynn. Their descendants include the names Brougham, Francis, Cogdell, Gilbert, Harris-Light, Hutchings, Johnson, Krenske, Light, Mann, Pratt, Scott, Thompson, Warner and Wilson in Australia and England.


NORWEGIAN TABLES

9. Ole Nicolai Christoffersen Boxerud (1832-1915) and Kristine Marie Pedersdatter Bringsrud (1832-1905). He was a policeman in Kongsberg. Their descendants include the names Braathen, Dirdal, Fjerdingstad, Hammer, Jusczyk, Kristoffersen, Laumann, Ulland and White in Norway, England and Denmark.

10. Jens Hansen Lie (1840-1924) and Lise Karine Olsdatter Gravdal (1839-efter 1910). They did not marry. He became farmer in Lardal. She married a worker and she worked as a washerwoman. This table is not yet researched.

11. Ole Johnsen Hovengen (1820-1899) and Hege Nielsdatter (1818-1898). They were smallholders in Svene near Kongsberg. Their descendants include the names Andersen, Boumgart, Brewer, Cousins, Haavengen, Hovengen, Isaksen, Madsen, Melloy, Olsen, Reid and Spiten in Norway, Australia, USA and England.

12. Lars Andersen Røraas (1832-1917) and Anne Kirstine Pedersdatter (1830-1901). He worked with timber and they lived in Fiskum near Kongsberg. This table is not yet researched.

13. Sjul Olsen Bjørhovden (1779-1844) and Kari Halstensdatter (1793-1871). They were smallholders in Svene near Kongsberg. Their descendants include the names Bjørhovden, Dokka, Ellingsen, Grønvad, Gutterud, Helleberg, Kaasin, Larsen, Lauvbu, Mobraaten, Moen, Neumann, Olsen, Paulsen, Røraas, Rånes, Semb, Storfors, Storfossen, Storfossene, Wendler and Aasdalen in Norway and USA.

14. Ole Olsen Bjørkeset (1772-1851) and Jøran Olsdatter Jondalen (1799-1835). They were farmers in Lyngdal near Kongsberg. Their descendants include the names Andersen, Bakke, Bjørkeset, Bogart, Bråta, Dalegården, Dalen, Deildok, Ellefsen, Gjerde, Grongstad, Huslende, Ingeborud, Kjenaas, Kleven, Konningen, Lande, Landerud, Letmolie, Lia, Lislien, Loftsgarden, Neset, Rabben, Riggenholt, Rugland, Snersrud, Sæther, Sætra, Thorberg and Øia in Norway, USA and Canada.

15. Gullik Gulliksen Bakken (1803-1870) and Barbro Marie Svendsdatter Bakken (1804-1882). He worked as a miner in the silvermine, and they lived in Jondalen near Kongsberg. Their descendants include the names Bakken, Bates, Bjørndal, Bjøråsen, Case, Farringdon, Flesseberg, Grønli, Hanevold, Hansen, Hoffman, Long, Lurås, Luraas, Moen, Pringle, Sager, Sell, Strand, Stærnes, Sundhaug, Thomas and Trollerud in Norway and USA.

16. John Petter Olsen (1807-1873) and Kari Knudsdatter (1795-1856). They were smallholders and he was a miner i the silvermine. They lived in Svene near Kongsberg. Their descendants include the names Biber, Blomgren, DeRoo, Edwards, Fromm, Haraldson, Langei, Langeid, Leopold, Lingbeck, Nelson, Olsen, Price, Sanchez, Schoolmeester, Sorenson, Staeffler, Stueven, VanderBeek, eires, West, Williams and Zetterlund in Norway and USA.
